Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by cleaning the king trumpet mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt and debris. Slice the mushrooms into thin shreds that resemble pulled meat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until evenly mixed.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the shredded mushrooms and sprinkle the mixed spices. Toss until the mushrooms are well-coated.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned mushrooms in a single layer and bake for about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
