  • 1 cup Water Used for the slurry.
  • ½ cup Sweetened Coconut Flakes Optional garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 13 x 9 baking dish with vegetable cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Strawberry Cake Mix, Guava Nectar or Juice, eggs, and melted Coconut Oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 24 to 26 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Beat the Cream Cheese until fluffy, then add the granulated Sugar and Vanilla Extract. Fold in the Cool Whip.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cake and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. For the guava gel, combine Guava Juice and sugar in a saucepan, then mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
  8. Bring guava mixture to boil, add the slurry, and cook until thickened. Let cool.
  9. Pour the cooled guava gel over the cream cheese layer and sprinkle with coconut flakes before refrigerating until serving.
