  • 8 cups Water Divided into 4 cups hot and 4 cups cold.

  • 2/3 cup Lime Juice Adds zing and brightness; can substitute with lemon juice.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a small pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and add 1 cup of the Thai tea mix. Stir gently and allow it to steep for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea into a large pitcher using a fine mesh strainer or a tea sock.
  4. While the tea is still warm, add 2/3 cup of sugar to the pitcher and stir until dissolved.
  5. Pour in 4 cups of cold water and 2/3 cup of fresh lime juice to the pitcher. Stir thoroughly.
  6. Serve by filling glasses with ice cubes and pouring the chilled Thai Lime Iced Tea over the ice.
