  • 1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Low-sodium for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Agave syrup for a vegan alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Olive oil can be substituted.
For the Wrap
  • 2 pieces Tortillas Whole wheat for extra fiber.
  • 2 cups Vegetables (lettuce, carrots, bell peppers, green onions) Customize with favorite veggies.

Method
 

Marinade and Cook
  1. In a medium bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Marinate chicken breasts for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, wash and prepare the vegetables.
Assemble and Serve
  1. Once cooked, let the chicken rest, then slice it. On a tortilla, layer shredded lettuce, sliced chicken, and vegetables.
  2. Carefully roll the tortilla, keeping the filling snug. Slice the wrap in half and serve immediately.
