Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into large chunks and boil in salted water for about 15 minutes until tender.
  2. Once cool, smash each piece to about ½ inch thick and lay on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix maple syrup, chili paste, and smoked paprika until smooth for the glaze.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and brush each potato with the glaze. Roast for about 30 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh herbs before serving.
