  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Can substitute with vegetable or canola oil.
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder Adjust according to heat preference.
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Oregano
For the Sticky Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce Use gluten-free tamari as an option.
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Arrowroot Powder Can substitute with cornstarch.
For the Spicy Mayo Drizzle
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1 tbsp Water To thin to desired consistency.
For the Bowl Assembly
  • 2 cups Rice (uncooked) Jasmine or medium-grain recommended.
  • 2 cups Broccoli (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions, typically about 15-18 minutes until tender.
  2. Chop broccoli into small florets for even cooking.
  3. Slice chicken breasts into strips and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, chili powder, onion powder, and oregano.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear chicken strips for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté broccoli for 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender but crisp.
  6. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, sriracha, sesame oil, ground ginger, and arrowroot powder, then pour over cooked chicken.
  7. Make the spicy mayo by mixing mayo with sriracha and water until smooth.
  8. Assemble the bowls with rice, sticky chicken, sautéed broccoli, drizzle with spicy mayo, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
