  • 2 tablespoons Oil or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Half-and-half or lighter cream
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
For the Extras
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley or other herbs
  • 1 medium Roma Tomato chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice optional
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the shrimp by patting dry and seasoning with salt, pepper, and half the Cajun seasoning.
  2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions, typically for about 9-11 minutes.
  3. In a large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
  4. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes on one side, then flip and cook with garlic for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in half-and-half, add cheese, and whisk for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in the pasta, tomato, and parsley, mixing well to coat.
  7. Squeeze lemon juice over the pasta if desired and adjust creaminess with additional half-and-half.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with more parsley and cheese.
