- In a blender, combine the sesame paste, chili oil, vinegar, tamari, garlic, sweetener, five spice powder, allspice, and broth. Blend until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, add the cabbage, chili pepper, and scallions. Drizzle with lime juice, sesame oil, lime zest, and a pinch of salt. Massage gently for 2-3 minutes.
- Boil water in a pot. Cook the soba noodles according to package instructions (4-6 minutes), then drain and rinse under cold water.
- Whisk lime juice, tamari, and sweetener in a small bowl. Toss the cooled soba noodles with this dressing.
- To assemble, place sauce on a plate, add the soba noodles, then top with the cabbage slaw. Optionally add protein and garnish with herbs.
