  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, minced or 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce or standard soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil pure sesame oil preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang or a mix of tomato paste and sriracha
For Assembly
  • 8 pieces Skewers wooden or metal
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Green Onions optional garnish

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Cut the chicken into 1½-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. Prepare the marinade by whisking together all marinade ingredients.
  3. Marinade the chicken in half of the marinade for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
  6. Grill the skewers for 20-30 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes.
  7. Baste with reserved marinade during the last few minutes of grilling.
  8. Serve the skewers hot, garnished with green onions.
