Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and place the unbaked pastry shell on a baking sheet.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat, add onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Drain excess liquid.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, milk, eggs, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and cayenne until smooth.
  5. Spread the shrimp and vegetable mixture in the pastry shell, pour custard over it, and sprinkle cheese on top.
