Ingredients

For the Crumble Base
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Provides sweetness for the crumble base; brown sugar can deepen the flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter Adds richness and moisture; substitute with vegan butter for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Enhances flavor depth; opt for pure vanilla for the best quality.
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour Creates structure for bars; whole wheat flour gives a nuttier taste but may alter texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Balances flavor and enhances sweetness; a pinch of sea salt works wonders.
For the Apple Filling
  • 4 cups Apples (e.g., Granny Smith, Honeycrisp) offer a delightful balance of sweet and tart flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon Adds warmth and festive fragrance.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg Spice that adds a warm festive fragrance.
For the Salted Caramel Drizzle
  • 1 cup Salted Caramel Sauce Adds a rich, sweet, and salty layer; ensure it’s pourable.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
