  • 8 ounces LoMein Noodles Feel free to substitute spaghetti or udon if needed.
For the Pork Filling
  • 1 pound Ground Pork Try ground chicken, turkey, or tofu for lighter options.
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Oil Vegetable or canola oil can work if you’re out of peanut oil.
For the Veggies
  • 4 cups Coleslaw Mix Fresh shredded cabbage can be used as an alternative.
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth Prevents the dish from being too salty.
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin Mix rice vinegar with a pinch of sugar if you don’t have mirin on hand.
  • 3 tablespoons Dark Soy Sauce Standard soy sauce with a splash of molasses can substitute.
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • to taste Sriracha Adjust the heat level to your preference.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of water on high heat. Add LoMein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 4–5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat peanut oil over medium-high heat. Add ground pork and green onions, breaking up the meat. Sauté for 5–6 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, mirin, dark soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and sriracha. Set aside.
  4. Lower heat and add cooked LoMein noodles and coleslaw mix to the skillet. Pour the sauce over and stir to combine.
  5. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, tossing to coat the ingredients with sauce. Garnish and serve hot.
