Cooking Steps
- Marinate the chicken in a mixing bowl with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for 5–10 minutes.
- Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions, typically boiling for 4–5 minutes until al dente.
- Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and chicken broth or water in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a large wok over medium-high heat and stir-fry the marinated chicken for 5–7 minutes until cooked through.
- Sauté minced garlic and optional ginger in the same pan for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced bell peppers, carrots, and snap peas to the pan and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.
