- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brush the inside of your loaf pan generously with melted unsalted Irish butter.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until well-combined.
- Stir in the shredded Irish cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
- Make a well in the center of the dry mixture, then pour in the Irish beer and mix gently until just combined.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
- Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the top of the batter.
- Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown.
- While the bread bakes, melt additional butter with parsley, garlic powder, and salt in a small saucepan.
- Brush the warm garlic butter mixture generously over the top of the bread once removed from the oven.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, slice and serve warm.
