  • 1 cup Canned or fresh diced peaches Drained if canned; use very ripe peaches for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Peach juice or syrup
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Used for the glaze.
  • 2 tbsp Milk Maple syrup can be used instead for a unique flavor twist.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Pour the melted unsalted butter into a greased 9x9 or 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. Gently stir the buttermilk and peach juice or syrup into the dry ingredients, then fold in the diced peaches.
  4. Pour the batter over the prepared melted butter without stirring. Lightly score the dough into 9 squares.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  6. Allow the biscuits to cool slightly, then whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze. Drizzle over the biscuits.
