  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes Adjust for spice preference.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 8 ounces Deli-sliced salami
  • 8 ounces Deli-sliced ham
  • 8 ounces Deli-sliced pepperoni
  • 8 ounces Deli-sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces Deli-sliced provolone cheese
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 0.5 cup Sliced black olives
  • 0.5 cup Banana peppers, sliced
  • 0.5 cup Fresh basil leaves

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the Italian sub rolls in half lengthwise, keeping the halves hinged.
  3. In a small bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the cut sides of each roll with the seasoned butter.
  5. Layer the salami, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, and provolone on the bottom half of each roll.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, roasted red peppers, black olives, and banana peppers on top.
  7. Add fresh basil leaves atop the sandwiches.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes, then cut into portions and serve warm.
