Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and bell peppers, sauté for 5-6 minutes until soft.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Incorporate ground beef into the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 7-8 minutes.
- Drizzle in Worcestershire sauce and stir to coat the meat. Mix in softened cream cheese until well blended.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Layer with provolone cheese and shredded mozzarella.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
