Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Spread the lemon pie filling evenly over the crust.
  4. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and lemon zest until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the lemon pie filling, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumbly cake mix over the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown and the edges start to pull away from the sides.
  8. Let cool for at least 45 minutes before slicing. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
