- In a small saucepan, combine miso paste, brown sugar, and water. Over medium heat, whisk until it simmers for 5 minutes, then cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until thickened. Cool to room temperature.
- Brew cold brew coffee using medium-dark roast by steeping coffee grounds in cold water for 12–24 hours. Strain to capture the cold brew essence.
- In a tall glass filled with ice, pour in the cold brew and drizzle in miso caramel syrup to taste. Stir gently.
- Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until soft peaks form, taking 2-3 minutes. Avoid over-whipping.
- Spoon cold foam over the cold brew, and sprinkle flaky sea salt to serve immediately.
