Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine miso paste, brown sugar, and water. Over medium heat, whisk until it simmers for 5 minutes, then cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until thickened. Cool to room temperature.
  2. Brew cold brew coffee using medium-dark roast by steeping coffee grounds in cold water for 12–24 hours. Strain to capture the cold brew essence.
  3. In a tall glass filled with ice, pour in the cold brew and drizzle in miso caramel syrup to taste. Stir gently.
  4. Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until soft peaks form, taking 2-3 minutes. Avoid over-whipping.
  5. Spoon cold foam over the cold brew, and sprinkle flaky sea salt to serve immediately.
