- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined and slightly frothy.
- Add all-purpose flour to the wet ingredients and stir gently until it resembles coarse sand.
- Press about two-thirds of the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, slice apples and toss with cinnamon and nutmeg. Layer the spiced apple mixture over the crust.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apple layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the caramel-covered apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
