Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, add 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, a pinch of ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture bubbles and the sugar fully dissolves, approximately 2 minutes. Add sliced ripe bananas and cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden and caramelized.
  2. While the bananas caramelize, brew 1 cup of strong coffee or espresso. Allow it to cool to room temperature or chill in the fridge.
  3. In a tall glass, combine the cooled brewed coffee with 1 cup of your milk of choice. Drizzle in 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce and stir until well mixed.
  4. Once the bananas are caramelized, spoon them into the latte mixture, including the syrup. Stir gently to distribute.
  5. Fill the glass with fresh ice cubes. Top with whipped cream, drizzle extra caramel sauce, and garnish with a slice of banana.
