Steps to Prepare
- In a slow cooker, combine 12 frozen meatballs with 1 cup of your favorite pasta sauce. Set the cooker to high for about 2 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for a crispy finish on the rolls.
- Line a baking sheet with foil, spray with cooking spray, and prepare for baking.
- Mix ¼ cup softened butter and 2 tablespoons minced garlic in a bowl. Slather on the inside of each roll.
- Place the torpedo rolls cut-side up on the baking sheet and spray the outer sides. Bake for about 5 minutes.
- Layer warm meatballs on toasted rolls, spoon remaining sauce, and sprinkle 1 cup shredded mozzarella on top.
- Return the assembled subs to the oven for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
