Making the Donuts
- In a mixing bowl, combine lukewarm milk, beaten egg, and melted butter. Stir until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, and instant yeast.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1.5 to 2 hours until doubled.
- Turn the risen dough onto a floured surface and roll to about ¼ inch thick.
- Cut out donut shapes using a round cutter and place them on parchment paper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to 170-180°C (340-360°F).
- Fry the donuts in small batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Filling the Donuts
- In a bowl, beat heavy whipping cream with sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Once cooled, cut fried donuts in half and spread condensed milk inside.
- Pipe whipped cream filling into each donut half and dust with powdered sugar.
