  • 1 large egg or a flax egg for a vegan option
  • 2 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste or swap with honey or maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder ensure it's fresh
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or nutmeg for a unique twist
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, blend yogurt, milk, egg, sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in grated apple into the wet mixture.
  4. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake, cooking until bubbles form.
  7. Flip each pancake once golden brown and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Transfer cooked pancakes to a plate and cover with a kitchen towel to keep warm.
