  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened for spreading.
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Tomatoes Diced, added after cooking.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded, added just before serving.
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese Feel free to use a cheese blend.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls on a large cookie sheet and pinch the seams together.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6–8 minutes, then drain fat.
  5. Mix in taco seasoning and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and a splash of salsa until smooth.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the baked crescent roll base, then layer with ground beef, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
  8. Add shredded lettuce just before serving.
  9. Cut into squares and serve warm.
