Step-by-Step Instructions for Versatile Egg Bites
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ramekins and non-stick spray.
  2. In a frying pan over medium heat, brown the breakfast sausage for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add half and half. Whisk until light and frothy, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In the same frying pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-6 minutes. Chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Spray each ramekin with non-stick spray and arrange them on a cookie sheet.
  6. Evenly distribute the cooked sausage and chopped bacon at the bottom of each ramekin.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and bacon in each ramekin, filling them about three-quarters full.
  8. Place the cookie sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 18-24 minutes until puffed and set.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm directly in the ramekins.
