Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown for 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Pour the beef mixture into the baking dish. Layer sliced potatoes on top, seasoning with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the potatoes and dust with Parmesan cheese. Pour beef broth around edges.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
