  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Oregano or basil can substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Smoky paprika deepens flavor
  • to taste Salt & Pepper Adjust to suit your taste
  • 1 cup Beef Broth Vegetable broth can lighten the dish
  • 1/4 cup Milk Optional for creaminess

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown for 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Pour the beef mixture into the baking dish. Layer sliced potatoes on top, seasoning with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the potatoes and dust with Parmesan cheese. Pour beef broth around edges.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
