  • 6 cups puffed rice cereal experiment with other cereals for variations

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with vegan butter or oil to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons of vegan butter over low heat, stirring continuously for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add 4 cups of vegan mini marshmallows and stir for 4-5 minutes until fully melted.
  4. Stir in green gel food coloring until you achieve the desired shade.
  5. Gently fold in 6 cups of puffed rice cereal using a spatula.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press down to create an even layer.
  7. Cut or shape the mixture into Christmas tree shapes after cooling for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Insert pretzel sticks as trunks and add vegan sprinkles for decoration.
  9. Allow the treats to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Cut into individual servings and enjoy at your holiday gatherings.
