- Season the chicken breast or thighs with salt and black pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1.5 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Carefully add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet and sear for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1.5 tablespoons of butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute.
