- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather your ingredients and a lined muffin tin.
- Mash the very ripe bananas until smooth with a few lumps remaining.
- Combine the mashed bananas with the peanut butter (or almond butter) until fully mixed.
- Add the protein powder and cocoa powder, stirring until smooth and well incorporated.
- Evenly distribute the batter into the prepared silicone baking cups, about three-quarters full.
- Optionally sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of each filled cup.
- Bake for 20 minutes, checking to see the tops are set and slightly cracked.
- Remove from oven and cool in the cups for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
