Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Crispy Bang Bang Chicken
- Begin by cutting the chicken into even bite-sized pieces, ensuring uniform cooking. Season the chicken generously with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing well to coat every piece.
- In a shallow bowl, beat a couple of eggs until smooth. Dip each seasoned chicken piece into the eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with cornstarch.
- Pour vegetable oil into a deep frying pan, filling it about two inches deep. Heat the oil to medium-high, around 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully add the coated chicken pieces in batches to the hot oil. Fry each batch for 4–6 minutes until golden and crispy.
- While the chicken fries, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by combining mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice. Whisk until smooth.
- Once all the chicken is fried, transfer it to a large mixing bowl and pour the Bang Bang sauce over it. Toss gently to coat.
- Serve your Crispy Bang Bang Chicken hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
