Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in canned tomatoes and let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Gradually add reserved pasta water, stirring to achieve desired sauce consistency.
  6. Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss with sauce for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnishing with fresh herbs or grated cheese.
