Pumpkin French Toast Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, eggs, and milk. Whisk together until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and salt. Whisk for an additional minute.
- Place a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil. Allow it to heat for about 2 minutes.
- Dip thick bread slices into the pumpkin batter, coating evenly. Place onto the skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet and stack on a warm plate.
- Drizzle with maple syrup, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and add nuts if desired.
- Serve immediately with additional sides as preferred.
