Method
 

Chili Preparation
  1. Melt butter over medium heat in a large pot. Add brown onion and sauté for 5 minutes until translucent.

  3. Increase heat and brown ground beef for 6-8 minutes until no longer pink.
  4. Pour in beer and salsa. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in refried beans. Simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Prepare relish by mixing bell pepper, dill pickles, green cabbage, chopped onion, apple cider vinegar, and mustard in a bowl.
