- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and let them come to room temperature.
- Grease a standard loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine canola oil, softened butter, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, incorporating each fully, then add vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Add buttermilk (or milk and vinegar mixture) and gently fold until just combined.
- Mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl for the swirl topping.
