Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion for 6–8 minutes until the beef is cooked and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in your preferred sloppy joe sauce and let it simmer for 3–5 minutes until it thickens.
  5. Prepare the garlic bread by placing it cut side up on a baking sheet.
  6. Spoon the meat mixture over each garlic bread slice, mounding it slightly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tops.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for 1-2 minutes if desired.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve hot.
