Cooking Steps

  4. Stir in tomato paste and crushed tomatoes into the skillet. Let it simmer gently for about 10 minutes.
  5. Cook gnocchi in a pot of salted boiling water according to package directions until they float, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  6. Combine drained gnocchi with the bolognese sauce in a baking dish, mixing gently to ensure they are well coated.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
