Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, Chinese five-spice powder, and sesame oil. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Place the chicken thighs into a resealable bag and pour half of the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Allow the chicken to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  5. Arrange the chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until cooked through.
  6. While baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Heat until boiling, then reduce to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven, brush with thickened glaze, and broil for 2 to 3 minutes.
  8. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve with remaining glaze.
