  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil or any neutral oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper fresh ground preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder substitute fresh garlic if preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika smoked paprika for extra flavor
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 3 tablespoons Sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha adjust to spice tolerance
  • 1 tablespoon Honey maple syrup is a good alternative
  • 1 lime Lime juice juice of 1 lime
For Garnish
  • 2 Green onions finely chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. In a skillet, add the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the hot pan, skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until properly cooked.
  4. In a bowl, whisk mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  5. Let the salmon rest for 1 minute off the heat, then drizzle with the prepared Bang Bang sauce and garnish with green onions.
