Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather your ingredients as the oven preheats.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut it into rectangles that fit your baking dish, about 1-inch larger than the dish.
  3. Grease the inside of your baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  4. Layer the puff pastry rectangles in your greased dishes, pressing them against the bottom and sides.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and heavy cream together until blended. Add salt, pepper, thyme, and chives.
  6. Stir in most of the shredded cheese, saving some for topping.
  7. Pour the egg and cheese mixture carefully into the pastry-lined dishes, filling just below the rim.
  8. Top the filled pastry cases with the reserved cheese for a golden crust.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the eggs are set.
  10. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
